Yoga Nidra: A Practice for Anxiety, Trauma, or PTSD

This short practice recorded live with my students, focuses on the the breath and your physical and energetic body only and stays out of the mind, which can be a scary place for those suffering from anxiety, trauma and PTSD. You can use this practice daily or on those evenings you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep.

Our affirmations for the practice:
-I let of that which I cannot control. I do my best and let go.
-I am grateful for the gifts already present in my life.
-I experience my body in balance, my mind at peace.
-I accept myself as I am…
Blessing and Peace to you! Namaste, Joan
