So, this video is dedicated to exploring how sexual assault and violence against women affects their mental health and PTSD.

Cassie McCarthy is a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 13 years of clinical experience. Through her work, she helps women learn the skills they need to take back control of their thoughts & feelings, feel calmer & safer, and develop better relationships. Cassie’s philosophy rests on the belief that women have the capacity to heal and be in charge of their recovery so that they can maintain the self-esteem they worked so hard to build. Cassie has showcased her skills in a variety of settings, has practiced internationally and is a former adjunct professor at Simmons College. Currently, she helps women through one-on-one work in her private practice and through public speaking and giving trainings to colleges, and organizations.
