Screaming Mimis and the PTSD that followed



On July 27, 2010 Robert “Bob” Todd sat down and told of his experiences in World War II. Bob served in the Army’s 21st Armored Infantry Battalion of the 11th Armored Division. He entered the war in France and rode the front lines eastward through the Battle of the Bulge, into Germany, liberated the Mauthausen Concentration Camp and met up with the Russians in Austria at the war’s end. In this clip from his full interview, he talks about being caught in the shelling, the horrible sounds of the screaming Memes, the flashbacks that would follow once he was home.
