Rep. Zeldin Testifies Before House VA Committee, Urging Passage of Bipartisan



On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) testified before the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, urging passage of his bipartisan legislation the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program Act (H.R. 1749), which expands nationally the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran Peer Support Program, or “Dwyer Program,” a peer-to-peer support program for veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
