Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD is a very serious anxiety disorders which is caused by traumatic events. Another anxiety disorder caused by traumatic events is the acute stress disorder but the difference is that PTSD is chronic, meaning long lasting and reccuring, in contrast with acute stress disorder which onsets few days after trauma and last for less than a month.
People with PTSD experienced a really traumatic events like when people get shot in front of them, natural disasters, they’ve gone to a war, they got raped or assaulted, and some even get tortured. According to psychiatrists, PTSD is worse for people whose trauma is caused by another person and not some accident or caused by nature. People with PTSD easily get irritated or stressed, angry, and they easily shiver in fears. The reason for this is because they tend to remember the traumatic event they experienced.
