—————

Is it really a disorder if you experience stress after a traumatic event? Trauma affects everyone differently, and to call what would be a healthy response to an unhealthy event a disorder, to me, seems inappropriate. Imagine living through a life-altering event, like a natural disaster, you’ll be changed by the experience as well. The key is finding ways to lower the levels of stress and to reconnect with your loving, playful self.

In the past four years, we have been developing a program to help people who have become so damaged by their experience that they would like to die. We have been taking 10 combat veterans into zones of clowning in Guatemala City. Imagine the pain and hurt melt away when you put on a nose and connect with people around you. If you would like to support this program, please follow this link.

Thank you.

Also, I don’t use a computer, so if you want to write me a letter you can send it to PO BOX 307 URBANA, IL 61803 USA.
