Bruce C. Solomon, the St. George Vet Center readjustment counselor, is a Vietnam War combat veteran who has a Master of Social Work and is here to help other combat veterans manage the effects of PTSD. Solomon explains post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) symptoms and why former soldiers react the way they do. He makes suggestions for how a friend or a spouse can ‘not throw gas on a fire’ and positive ways to help a veteran with knowledge of what a vet is dealing with.
