I’ve experienced all of the above, especially with a recent shoulder injury (link below) that’s made it even harder to move and workout in a way that truly works for me.

For years, I had such a negative relationship with my body, with fitness, with unachievable expectations. I would consistently push myself well past my capacity because I thought YOU SHOULD. I hated the idea of working out and never felt sustainable with it #YOYO

Fast-forward 8+ years and I’m now a certified group fitness instructor and still continue my life-long passion for dance.

I realized a number of years ago that in order for me to feel more balanced and happy, not just with myself, but with fitness, I needed to shift how I saw moving my body for health and really customize my approach to my personal needs.

Luckily, for me, that includes variety and fun!
