But, trauma has many faces. The traumatic events of the 20th century have equally yielded a global PTSD: alienation, atomization, rising violence, anomie, pernicious narcissism, and the disintegration of the social fabric and of institutions – all amplified by enabling technologies that empower malignant individualism to the breaking point.”
