TANK SNAKE & FILTHY CHALLENGE YOU!!!!! FROM JUNE 1ST TO JUNE 22ND TAKE A VIDEO OF YOURSELF DOING 22 PUSHUPS AND ON OR BEFORE THE 22ND POST IT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR VETERAN SUICIDE DUE TO PTSD. SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIAL LET’S GET THIS VIDEO OUT TO EVERYONE!!!

Veteran Suicide, a topic that I hate is a topic but it’s real….and we need to build a support network for those struggling.
22 Veterans a day take their lives, that’s 8,030 lives lost every year. Whether they are men or women from WWII to troops who joined last month. A brother or sister lost is just that, a family member that you never knew personally but your connected in a way no one will understand unless they have served. 22 people who have raised their hands and vowed to lay a human life on the line to protect what our founding fathers created for us. 22 lives that protected 322 million people they didn’t know for at least 4 years of their life.

This horrible 22 a day points back to one main 4 letter acronym. PTSD. For those who don’t know PTSD stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Recently doctors took the D out as they think it’s not a “Disorder” but a condition created. The biggest misconception about PTS is that you have to be a combat veteran to experience it. This my friends is not true. ALL humans experience different stresses, and they react and heal from those stresses differently. To one, getting a bug infestation at the house could cause them to freak out everytime they see a bug thereafter, they could hyperventilate and pass out just because it brings back memories that freaked them out beyond comfortable stress levels. On the contrary those who see combat could be affected by certain smells or sounds they react with on a daily basis which in turn causes their hippocampus (in the brain) to trigger a fight or flight style reaction, this reaction could also cause SO MUCH that they just can’t handle it anymore. I once had a friend tell me he had a buddy who retired from the Marine Corps and went to work at a steel mill. His co-workers decided to toss rocks onto the metal roof, but they had no idea he suffered from PTSD. When they came back inside he was huddled under a desk crying and shaking beyond control because it brought back memories of his squad under mortar attack where his best friend was killed.

PTS can affect anyone, for any event that is traumatic to them even if you dont think its a big deal, never judge someone else’s footsteps. Around the nation Veterans are coming home and feeling hopeless, no one understands them and what they have been through, no one can relate to the things they may or may not have seen. They try to vent but people look in disgust. People say it will be okay, that it’s going to be alright but that doesn’t help them get rid of this demon inside, they need someone who understands, they need professional help designed for PTS, they need more care than what we are giving them now. EVEN if you don’t support military because you’re one of those people who think we are all baby killers and all that shit, it’s still a human being in need. Mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers…..just like you have in your family. So why pass by and say someone else can take care of it when I PROMISE you that vet would put his worries down and be that support for you.

SO

We challenge YOU with a challenge that ANYONE can do, kids to elders. The biggest thing we can do as a nation is raise awareness, create that spider web of support around the nation….show my brothers and sisters in arms that they aren’t alone, show them that we see their issues, and we won’t give up.

For 22 days in June we challenge each and everyone of you to do 22 push ups a day and videotape or take pictures of you doing the 22 and uploading them to your youtube channel or social media to challenge your friends and family. Be sure you anyone else that does it to tag @TankSnake_ so he can tally up the number and send them to 22kill.com to be added to the nationwide counter.

You do not have to do 22 a day for 22 days, even if it’s just one set of 22 it gets the word out there, be sure to mention you are doing this challenge to raise awareness that 22 veterans take their lives everyday.

If you cannot find Tank Snake on social media email him your videos or pictures at tanksnake1231@gmail.com and use the subject 22kill and he will include them in his video.
