Asian Hate Crime on the public street in Los Angeles, California(K-town). #koreatown #LA #California

The incident happened Thursday at around 8a.m. on 3rd Street and Ardmore Avenue in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Korean-American man was brutally attacked by African-American man for no apparent reason.

The suspect insulted the victim by asking, “Where are you from?” and started punching him out of anger. Thus, the victim was badly injured with seven stitches on his forehead, fractured two fingers, and had multiple scraps and wounds with excessive bleeding.

Due to Covid-19 protocol, the suspect was not arrested and the victim is still recovering from the injuries and PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder).

We must fight against racism and hate crimes against Asian American Pacific Islander communities, especially during this challenging time with Covid-19 pandemic.

The victim is in need of help with medical bills, living expenses, and lawyers.
Please pray and support for this victim.
