At one time or the other we all experience some level of anxiety. For many of us, anxiety can be crippling.
In today’s video, I want to talk about what anxiety is, the different types of anxiety and how to deal with anxiety.
Anxiety is that state of being anxious and having worry or having a troubled mind about an uncertain event. For most of us this is a common, buy not debilitating experience For many of us though, anxiety can be crippling.
Normal anxiety is episodic and rooted in real situations. Anxiety disorders are more pervasive, long lasting and debilitating. Part of good mental housekeeping is the willingness to seek help when it is needed. Anxiety disorders, if left untreated can lead to depression with increased chances of job loss, relationship breakup or even suicide.
Anxiety can include:
General Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder) and
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
