All you need to know about EMDR therapy or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing

✔️This video is dedicated to #EMDR therapy. EMDR means Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This unique and already widespread method of psychotherapy was developed by the American psychologist Francine Shapiro. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment and it has already been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of #PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and other mental issues as a result of various types of psychotrauma: big traumas such as sexual, physical violence, accidents, losses, natural disasters or minor traumas such as non-life-threatening injuries like emotional abuse, death of a pet, bullying or harassment and loss of significant relationships. This psychological therapy is also effective for treating anxiety, phobias, low self-esteem, psychosomatic complaints etc.
